DESCRIPTIONS OF PARADISE
I heard Sahl bin Sa'd al-Sa'idi saying: "I witnessed a gathering with the Messenger of Alläh-may Alläh elevate his rank & grant him peace-where he described Paradise until he reached the end. Then, at the conclusion of his speech, he said:
'In it is what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and has never occurred to the heart of a human being.' Then, he recited this verse: {Their sides forsake their beds, as they supplicate to their Lord in fear and hope} [AI-Sajdah 32:16] until His saying: {No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for the eyes; [Al-Sajdah 32:17]. He (Abu Hazim) said: "Then I informed Muhammad bin Ka'b al-Qurazi of this." So he (Muhammad bin Ka'b) said: "Did Abu Hazim narrate this to you?" I said: "Yes." Then he (Muhammad bin Ka'b) said: "Indeed, the intelligent ones are many. O this one!
They concealed their deeds for Alläh, so He concealed for them their reward. When they finally arrive before Him, those eyes will be delighted.
